The public youth association Start-Moldova launches the initiative “Day of Clean Cars” within the project “Aqua Save Moldova”. A number of 250 students and high school graduates will wash dirty cars without water, using microfibers filled with a solution based on nanopolymers that remove dirt.
Start-Moldova co-founder Alexandru Popovici has told IPN that this technology is new in Moldova and can be an opportunity for developing entrepreneurship among young people.
There will be set up 15 carwash units at the largest parking lots of Chisinau municipality and by a unit in each district. The project is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The service will cost between 60 and 80 lei. If the drivers want to wash the cars themselves, they can purchase the solution for 35 lei. It is enough for washing the car three times. Alexandru Popovici said a mobile team of 20 people will also travel to the client’s place.
