The young people in the Republic of Moldova during the next four months will be able to access free legal and psychological services provided in the framework of a project of the National Youth Council (CNTM), IPN reports.
In a press release, the Council says the services will be offered so as to be closer to the young people and to offer them the necessary support.
“One of the big challenges during this year is the COVID-19 pandemic that came with its own rules and thwarted the plans of practically each of us. We had to adjust swiftly to the online environment and the young people became overburdened. This sudden change to a new reality caused depressive states and anxiety, but also injustice at professional level and not only,” runs the press release.
Over four months, the CNTM aims to inform over 10,000 young people online and offline about their rights and obligations in crisis situations and how they can defend their rights during the COVID-19 pandemic. The young people will also be offered appropriate psychological support, depending on their needs.
“By offering assistance and ensuring the realization of the rights of young people, the project “Justice for Young People” aims to identify the legitimate rights and interests of the young people that were violated and to contribute to improving their legal culture level,” says the press release.
To benefit from free psychological advice, the young people need to write to cntm.psihologie@gmail.com, while for free legal advice – to cntm.justitie@gmail.com.
