A man aged 21 suffered a leg fracture when he slipped and got stuck in a narrow passage of the Surprizelor (Surprises) cage in Criuleni town, IPN reports.

The call to the 112 Service was made in the evening of November 28. The rescuers found the young man at a depth of 350 meters. Three rescue teams became involved to take him out.

The General Inspectorate for Emergencies said the operation was difficult as the young man had his leg broken and had to be immobilized before being taken out safely. He was taken to the Criuleni District Hospital for medical care.
