A young man was seriously injured after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment block in Chisinau. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service told Info-Prim Neo that at 3 pm, a 20-year-old drunken man fell in unknown circumstances from the fifth floor of an apartment block located on Miron Costin Street. The young man received multiple traumas, a brain concussion, an abdomen trauma and a chest trauma, and was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. A 40-year-old man was found in coma of unidentified etiology on Decebal Boulevard. He was hospitalized in “Sfanta Treime” hospital. A 22-year-old man was brought to the same hospital, after trying to commit suicide by taking an excessive amount of medication. A 64-year old man died because of brain stroke. Another 64-year-old man died of heart attack. He was feeling heartache for two days, but didn’t go to the doctor. Yesterday, the Emergency Service recorded 701 calls, including 63 trauma cases, and 22 cases of acute diarrhoea.
