A man aged 31 lost his life in a road accident in Recea village of Straseni district on February 5. The car driven by this collided head-on with a minibus, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the minibus was driven by a man aged 54 from Zubresti village. The vehicle was hit frontally by the car driven by the young man from Recea, who came from the opposite direction. As a result of the collision, the young man died on the spot, while his passenger suffered a neck wound. Both the driver and the passenger had the seatbelts non-fastened.

“We ascertain with regret that some of the drivers continue to be indifferent and do not obey the Road Traffic Regulations. Some continue to travel with the seatbelt not fastened,” it is said on the Facebook page of the national police.
