A man aged 25 died in a traffic accident on the Chisinau-Orhei-Balti road in the morning of May 3. It was preliminarily determined that the driver was speeding and lost control of the car. This moved to the contraflow lane and collided head-on with a minibus, IPN reports.

The accident happened near Braviceni village of Orhei district. The car driver died on the spot, while four minibus passengers suffered different injuries and were taken to the district hospital.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, 80 persons were killed in road accidents so far this year. Over 700 persons were hurt in these.
