Young man killed in car accident on Vulcanesti – Cahul road

A serious traffic accident happened on the Vulcanesti – Cahul road on Wednesday, caused by speeding. An Opel-Astra went out of control, skidded on the wet road and went straight into a tree. The 28-year-old driver died on the spot, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the spokeswoman for the Traffic Police Division Dana Andronic, another speeding car crashed into a tree on the Plopi – Donduseni road. The driver and a passenger were hospitalized in a serious condition.
An Opel Vectra car struck a woman aged 24 on the Edinet – Lopatnic road, at a bus station in Gordinestii Noi village. The woman appeared suddenly from behind a minibus and the driver of the car did not manage to brake.
The accidents that occurred on the national roads on November 17 resulted in one death and five persons injured.
