A young man from a northern district was taken to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital with severe injuries that he received when he was struck by a car near Hospital No.1 in the capital city. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the young man suffered a cerebral trauma, associated trauma and second-degree traumatic shock. The accident happened at about 7pm. The driver did not stop to help. The police are now looking for him. Another young man was stabbed by an unidentified person on Botanica Veche St. When he called an ambulance, he was under the influence of alcohol. On Saturday and on Sunday night, the Chisinau ambulance teams had dealt with 614 emergencies, including 79 cases of acute viral infection, 58 cases of trauma and eight strokes.
