Over the past 24 hours, 44 teams on ambulances responded to 870 calls. Because of the limited number of ambulances, they are often late to their destination, which makes the patients’ relatives get angry and threaten the doctors sometimes, Silvia Babara says. On January 25, Emergency Service doctors registered 134 cases of acute respiratory diseases and 29 cases of mumps, 3 brain strokes and 3 heart attacks.
