A 29-year-old man from the city of Ceadâr-Lunga was brutally beaten by two individuals. The victim was urgently transported to the hospital, however, he died in the resuscitation department.

The incident took place two days ago in Ceadâr-Lunga. Law enforcement officers were alerted of the beating by passersby. The beaten young man was lying on the side of the road. So far, the investigation found that the victim and the alleged perpetrators spent time together in a house in the city. Officers are still investigating the circumstances of the case and how the conflict started.

Law enforcement officers identified two suspects, 37 and 52 years old. Asked by IPN, the Ceadâr-Lunga Police Inspectorate press officer, Anna Cotar, said that the suspects were detained for 72 hours and that an arrest warrant will be requested from the court.

The suspects face up to 15 years in prison.
