A man aged 22 was rushed to the hospital after he fell from height in a mall in Chisinau. His friends said he wanted to make a movie for Tik-Tok and climbed the balustrade, but lost his balance and fell.

Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said the incident happened at a mall located on Arborilor St in the afternoon of January 15. The young man was accompanied by his friends. He fell from the escalator’s balustrade from a height of about seven meters.

The man was taken to the Emergency Medicine Institute. The Institute’s spokeswoman Dorina Arsene has told IPN that the patient was in a serious state and was being operated.
