Young man faces seven years in jail for trafficking in drugs
A 25-year-old man may get seven years for trafficking in drugs. He is suspected of trying to put marijuana and amphetamine in circulation. According to the General Police Commissariat, the suspect was earlier tried for similar offenses and is a drug user, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The police found the drugs at the suspect’s home during a search. They started a legal case over illegal distribution of narcotic, psychotropic and analogous substances. He faces three to seven years in prison.
The police have dealt with 96 drug-related offenses so far this year. Eighty-seven criminal cases were sent to the prosecution bodies.
