A serious road accident has happened at the entrance to Ceadir-Lunga town this morning. A young man was killed when the car in which he was traveling ran into a tree, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Division, the 26-year-old driver exceeded the legal speed limit, lost control of the car and crashed it into a tree growing by the roadside. The driver was unhurt, but the male passenger of the same age died. The men are from Gaidar village of Ceadir-Lunga district. According to villagers, the two were friends. The man who died was married and had two children of 2 and 3. The case is investigated by the Ciadir-Lunga Police Commissariat. The driver faces 3 to 5 years in jail.
