A 23 year old man died after he fell from a roof and then was crushed by a lifting device at a Chisinau lyceum. Doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service, Anatol Proca, told to Info-Prim Neo that the tragedy occurred at :Mihai Kogalniceanu” Lyceum situated on Miron Costin St, in Rascani District. Sources within the lyceum told the agency that the victim, a young man, resident of Floreni village, Anenii-Noi, together with two other labourers were repairing the roof of the school. They were using elevators to carry rolls to the roof. Placed on such a platform, at the 5th floor of the lyceum, the young man slipped and fell down. A part of the lifting device detached from an unknown cause and crushed him. The young man died before the doctors arrived. The case is inspected by the police and the Labour Inspection.
