A 27-year-old man died in the hospital where he was taken in a serious state after he was beaten in a public place in Cantemir town. The police said one of the three identified suspects was arrested, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the information was made public on June 24 and a criminal case was shortly started over hooliganism and causing of serious bodily injuries that resulted in death. The police established that the man was beaten by three persons from Cantemir district aged between 18 and 23.

One of the suspects was placed under arrest. The other two suspects are to be put on the wanted list.

The three face up to 15 years in jail for murder.
