A 32-year-old man and his 8-year-old child died last night in a road accident in Taraclia. The man was behind the wheel of the car and, at a certain point, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed it into a tree, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the accident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. on the road that connects Copceac and Cairaclia localities in Taraclia.

At the scene, the police determined that the 32-year-old man was driving a BMW, but on the way he lost control of the steering wheel and ran the car into a tree. The car turned into ruins.

Following the impact, the driver and his 8-year-old son died on the spot. A criminal case was started on this case to establish all the circumstances.
