Young disabled persons to contribute to making study
The Center of Legal Assistance for Persons with Disabilities will train 15 young persons as part of a workshop aimed at making a study of the barriers hindering the social inclusion of persons with disabilities in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“This study will focus on the public policies concerning the young people with disabilities. It will contain information about the main problems confronting these people. We want to establish how often their rights to education and private life and in units of transport are violated,” Mariana Tabuleac, PR manager of the Center of Legal Assistance for Persons with Disabilities, told Info-Prim Neo.
Mariana Tabuleac said 15 young persons from Moldova, including Gagauzia and Transnistria, will be familiarized with issues regarding the persons with disabilities during the two-day workshop. Some of them will be later employed to conduct interviews when making the study.
The study will be carried out with financial support from the Academy for Educational Development.
