A man and a woman, both aged 19, died in hospital 4 days after their motorcycle was struck by a jeep. Diana Andronic, Traffic Police PR officer, told Info-Prim Neo the accident happened on June 20, on the 35th kilometer of the Braniste-Falesti road. The driver lost control over the jeep and collided with the motorcycle the couple was riding. Both the man and the woman died on Thursday, June 24. Elsewhere, on Wednesday, June 23, the driver of a VAZ-2106 attempted a passing maneuver, but his car skidded and crashed into a tree. The 53-year-old was driving without a license. He suffered a chest contusion and some broken ribs. Near Tohatin community, Chisinau, a Peugeot driven by a 23-year-old man collided with a Wolkswagen driven by a 33-year-old woman. The latter driver and her passenger, aged 22, suffered foot traumas. Over the last 24 hours, 5 accidents happened in Moldova which injured 7 people.
