The amount of dust in the air exceeds the allowed norms. The State Hydrometeorology Service issued a yellow code warning and recommended the authorities and the people to clean the streets with water, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The norms have been slightly exceeded, but the amount of dust during the next three days will increase following the unfavorable weather conditions. The dust and anti-skid material spread by the vehicles and the wind pollute the air and affect the respiratory and cardiovascular systems,” said Elina Plesca, first depute head of the State Hydrometeorology Service. The yellow code warning was issued for the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti and for Rybnitsa, Tiraspol and Bender towns. Elina Plesca also said that these conditions will persist until it rains. Rain is forecast for the start of next week. The weather will grow slightly colder towards the end of this week and ground frost in possible in parts of the country. The weather forecasters said the wind will blow at a speed of 9-14 meters per second the coming days.
