Weather forecasters issued a yellow code warning for wind for March 19. According to the State Hydrometeorology Service, the northwestern wind is expected to intensify to 15-20 m/s, IPN reports.
The yellow code advisory for ground frost was extended until March 20 inclusive in connection with the approaching colder air masses. There will be between -1 and -5 degrees Celsius at night in parts.
On March 19, nighttime temperatures will vary between -2 and +4 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures – between +1 and +6 degrees Celsius. After March 20, it will grow warmer, up to +12 degrees Celsius during the day.
There will be sleet in northern Moldova in the middle of next week. Rain is possible in the southern and central districts.
