Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for ground frost for October 4-6 for the whole territory of the country, IPN reports.
According to the State Hydrometeorology Service, temperatures will drop to -2 degrees Celsius, while on the ground even down to -4 degrees.
Natalia Golub, engineer of the National Weather Forecasts Center, has told IPN that the weather is influenced by a western anticyclone that will leave the country towards the end of the week.
The temperatures are now lower than the norm for this period, when they should be higher than +5 degrees Celsius. However, they will go up from next week. On October 7-8, there will be +5 degrees Celsius at night and +10 - +15 degrees Celsius during the day. On October 9 – 10, temperatures will rise to +17 degrees Celsius.
