Employees of the General Public Amenities Division of Chisinau will work in shifts to clean snow from access roads to yards of apartment buildings, sidewalks and public transparent stations.

Vasile Efros, head of the Division’s Cleanup Section, has told IPN that the works today will continue until 5pm. They will be resumed by snowplows at about 2am on January 11. The employees who work manually will restart work at 5am.

A number of 35 utility vehicles, including nine Hako machines, are now working on streets in Chisinau. About 350 workers remove snow manually.
