The yard of apartment buildings No. 41/2, 43, 45, 45/2 and 47 situated on Cuza-Voda Blvd in Chisinau’s Botanica District will be laid out, Gennady Dubita, deputy head of the Public Amenities Division, was quoted by IPN as saying in the ordinary meeting of municipal services and divisions.
According to the functionary, the given yard is in a deplorable state. The roads and pavements there are 70% damaged and the pluvial drainage system does not work. There is insufficient parking space and the cars are parked on lawns. The playground is worn-out.
Under the project, a multifunctional sports ground will be set up in the middle of the yard. The dwellers could play mini-football, volleyball and basketball there. The stadium will be covered with artificial grass and will be fenced. There will be installed stands with three rows of stairs and LED lighting. A playground with slides, swings and carousel will be laid out nearby. This will be fenced and the ground will be covered with gravel.
The trees will be trimmed and the drainage system will be repaired. There will be set up parking places and flower beds.
The blocks in the yard consist of 380 apartments. The budget of the project is of 2.8 million lei.
Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu asked the district heads to identify by such a yard in each district and next week to provide information about this so that the repair works could be planned for the immediate period. A broader concept that will cover more yards will be worked out next year.
