Writers Union chairmanship still disputed

The office of the chairman of the Writers Union of Moldova has been sealed for about two months. Elena Gretsko, the head of the Ministry of Justice’s Noncommercial Organizations Division, told Info-Prim Neo that she has not been informed about a trial on this case. The decision whereby Arcadie Suceveanu was included in the State Register of Noncommercial Organizations as chairman of the Writers Union was taken on December 2. Mihai Cimpoi could not be fund for comment. Arcadie Suceveana was elected as chairman of the Writers Union in the general assembly of October 29, by 89 votes. Mihai Cimpoi won 76 votes.
