Moldovan Greco-Roman wrestler Daniel Cataraga won gold at the Under 23 World Championships that are held in Poland, IPN reports.

He scored four victories in the 71 kg weight class. Cataraga beat Ukraine’s Artur Politaiev, Iranian wrestler Farshad Mirahmad Belfakeh, Italy’s Riccardo Vito Abbrescia and in the final defeated Robert Attila Fritsch of Hungary 5-0.

At the Greco-Roman wrestling competition in Bydgoszcz, Moldova is represented by three athletes.
