World and European youth wrestling champion Anastasia Nikita on January 12 leaves for India to take part in the championship of this country, IPN reports.

She will compete for the club Haryana Hammers. The competition will also involve female medalists of the Olympic Games. The team competition that will bring together six clubs will last for three weeks. The fights start on January 14.

The championship of India is a new stage in the preparations for the European Under 23 Championships that will take place in Serbia on March 4-10, 2019. A month ago, Anastasia Nikita won the trophy “Talent of 2018” that was awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
