An exhibition of photographs by disabled children titled “The World in My Eyes” was opened on the first day of the Social Inclusion Week held in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. The exhibition was set up in the hall of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family and is the second of the kind. The first was mounted last December. The photos were taken by children aged between 10 and 17. Some of them are institutionalized. Others came to the exhibit accompanied by the family. The pictures contain mainly landscapes, stones, buildings and portraits. Alexandru Rybakov, 17, said he likes flowers very much and thus decided to immortalize them in photos. The photograph taken by Ion Panaiotov, 15, shows his friend who is very kind and generous, as the author said. “The children and young persons were taught how to use the cameras and were encouraged to photograph persons and what they like,” said Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Sergiu Sainciuc.
