World Bank to offer $30M loan to Moldova
The World Bank will offer Moldova a $30 million loan to enhance economic competitiveness. The Moldovan Government has created a work-group to negotiate the loan agreement, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta said the loan will be used to finance activities to improve the business environment, enhance the quality of SMEs' products, to make the best use of export opportunities and to implement modern management systems.
The World Bank earlier financed a competitiveness enhancement project in Moldova. It included, among other, grant components that helped businesses implement quality management systems.
