The joint stock company “Termoelectrica” considers it will manage to complete the World Bank project to improve the company’s operational efficiency and financial viability earlier, by the end of this year. The administration informed the WB experts who paid a visit to the company about these expectations, IPN reports.
In a press release, the company’s administration said the experts were impressed by the results of the project that was to be finished in 2020 according to the previous commitments.
“Termoelectrica” director general Veaceslav Eni enumerated the activities carried out within the project until now, starting with the modernization of the pumping stations, continuing with the rehabilitation of sections of damaged heat pipes and ending with the installation of individual thermal points. According to Veaceslav Eni, the World Bank project is of significant importance.
The made investments of US$40 million were provided as a loan.
