The works to renovate sewer pipes performed by SA “Apă-Canal Chisinau” with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and with the investment grant provided by the Neighborhood Investment Facility of the EU continue. The works to rehabilitate sewerage network are close to an end, IPN reports.
The supplier said that the works were recently completed in a number of areas, namely on the section of A. Mateevici St between the streets V. Pârcălab and V. Alecsandri. Over 339 linear meters of sewer pipes, with the diameter of 160 to 250 mm, were replaced there.
Works were also executed on the section of N. Iorga between the streets București and A. Mateevici. About 680 liner meters of sewer pipes, with the diameter of 160 to 315 mm, were substituted there.
Works are now carried out on the section of M. Dosoftei St between the streets Sf. Țării and Tricolorului. 378 linear meters of sewer pipes, with the diameter of 160 to 500 mm, are to be replaced there.
“Apă-Canal Chisinau” said the works will be finished by this yearend and will also mark the competition of the project to rehabilitate about 7 km of sewer pipes.
