The works to prepare the summers camps for welcoming children and teens are to be completed by May 20, 2017, IPN reports, making reference to a Government decision on the organization of this year’s summer vacation.

The document specifies the powers of those in charge so that these finish the works at summer camps for children and teens, including at day camps, and outfit these with the necessary equipment.

The costs for one day in summer camps financed with budget funds vary between 129 and 196 lei.

The Government offers gratis 25% of the available tickets to summer camps to a number of categories of children and teens, including orphans, children from disadvantages and one-parent families and families with three and more children. The rest of the tickets will be sold at a discount of 80% of the ticket’s price.

Also, the Ministry of Education will purchase 100 tickets for students from Romania, 100 tickets for students from conflict areas of eastern Ukraine and 50 tickets for Ukrainian Romanian-language education institutions and will also cover the expenses of the trip on Moldova’s territory. Another 300 tickets will be bought for students of general education institutions of Moldova’s eastern districts and Bender town, which are administered by the Moldovan authorities.

Also, a tourist package for 100 Romanian students and 150 Ukrainian students will be purchased to promote Moldova’s image.
