The team of Termoelectrica announced the successful completion of a part of the works to modernized heat pipe sections that were planned for this summer. Until now, there were laid about 3,000 meters of heat pipes with the diameter of 70 to 800 mm and finished asphalting works on an area of about 1,300 square meters on Decebal Blvd and the streets Ion Vasilenco, București, M. Viteazu and Calea Ieșilor, IPN reports.

In a press release, the company says that works are now preformed on another ten sections in all the districts of the capital city.



“The modernization of thermoelectric infrastructure means improvement of the quality of life for all the residents of the capital city. That’s why we will continue to extend the list of works that will be successfully completed by the start of the new season so that we are ready to provide improved heating services for the consumers,” said Termoelectrica director general Veaceslav Eni.

In accordance with the Investment Plan for 2021, Termoelectrica will modernize about 13,000 meters of heat pipes.
