A part of the roof of the apartment building that collapsed in Otaci town on June 19 has been already dismantled by workers of the building company that was contracted to perform the demolition works by the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, IPN reports.

According to the Inspectorate, the demolition works on June 28 covered the whole damaged block. The situation at the scene is monitored by General-Major Mihai Harabagiu.

Specialists of the Inspectorate are permanently checking the stability of the construction and the oscillations near the damaged building trough the agency of the laser sensor. The Inspectorate continues to monitor the situation and to secure the perimeter of the site.
