The municipality of Chisinau informed that it suspended the validity of the construction authorization issued for erecting an apartment building on Alba Iulia St in Buiucani district. An ordinance to this effect was made by deputy mayor in charge of the construction sector Nistor Grozavu on July 17, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, until the dispute with the dwellers is not resolved, the construction works will remain suspended. The apartment building includes social-cultural facilities at the first floor and an underground parking garage.

The municipality’s decision comes as response to the petition submitted by dwellers of the apartment buildings located at 2, 4, 6 Alba Iulia St.
