Conservation works are performed at the household waste storage site and building materials storage site located on Uzinelor St in Chisinau. The municipal services covered with earth over 20% and, respectively, 30% of the areas of the sites, IPN reports.

The Chisinau City Hall said such an agreement with reached by the Mayor General of Chisinau municipality Dorin Chirtoaca and the initiative group that consists of inhabitants of Bubuieci commune for solving the problems related to the management of waste and the local Wastewater Treatment Station.

In the last meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council, of March 14, it was decided to allot a plot of 6.47 hectares situated on Ion Pruncul St near Vatra town to the Public Amenities Division for setting up a waste storage and recycling site for depositing building and vegetal waste collected in Chisinau there. 

In accordance with the agreement reached with the residents of Bubuieci, the Chisinau City Hall planted 700 tall acacia trees on the border between the two settlements.
