The deadline for finishing the works to lay out the beach of the lake in Valea Morilor Park is April 1. An order to this effect was made by Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo reports. Roman Sofroni, head of the municipal Constructions Division, said the works that started in 2010 are executed according to the plan approved by the Chisinau City Hall. The lake will be filled with water in three stages. Currently, works are performed on the filtration chambers and the bypassing duct. The strategy for laying out the recreational area in Valea Morilor Park was approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council on March 23, 2010. It was worked out by the Institute “ChisinauProiect”. The works are assessed at 81 million lei. The works to clean the lake situated in the park began in October 2006. A sum of about 20 million lei allocated from the local bugged went on the works in 2010.
