Prime Minister Iurie Leanca issued an ordinance by which a working group is instituted to ensure the improved quality, safety and accessibility of international parcel shipping services, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Government, the new mechanism must meet the people’s interests. This means that the taxes should not be increased, the parcel collecting and delivery conditions should be improved, and possible frauds should be prevented.
The group, which will consist of representatives of the executive and of carriers, will start work next week. It will coordinate and synchronize the proposals and initiatives submitted by different institutions.
The package of proposals will be drafted during a month.
