Work of ice-cream factory “Sandriliona” suspended
Specialists of the National Scientific-Practical Center of Preventive Medicine decided to suspend the activity of the ice-cream factory “Sandriliona” working in Ialoveni town, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a communique, the Ministry of Health says raw materials and food additives with the expired shelf life and with labels that did not contain information about the producer and the country of origin were found at the company's storehouse.
A part of the equipment used has not been authorized by the sanitary authorities. The company's administration did not obtain the sanitary-epidemiological authorities' approval for a construction project. The personnel eats in rooms intended for keeping clothes and sanitary equipment.
Therefore, Mihail Magdei, Moldova's chief sanitary inspector and Deputy Minister of Health, ordered suspending the work of “Sandriliona” from April 8, 2010 until the identified irregularities are removed.
