He fell from a height of about four meters while working on the roof at a building site on the beach in Vatra town. Two female colleagues aged 50 got poisoned after eating pickled cabbage. They called the ambulance and the police, saying a co-worker of theirs put a toxic substance in their food. Another two women aged 50 took pills in order to kill themselves. They were taken to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. Accidentally or not, a 52-year-old man abusing alcohol drank a substance used to kill insects. He was discovered dead by his mother. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 783 calls, including 85 cases of acute viral infection, four cases of flu, 56 cases of trauma, three myocardial infarctions and 12 strokes.
