Woman killed, two injured in car accident in Criuleni district

A woman died and another two women were rushed to the hospital with injuries after the car in which they traveled crashed into a tree. According to the Traffic Police Division, the accident happened on the Peresecina – Isnovat road, not far from Miclesti village of Criuleni district, in the morning of March 3, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The car was driven by a 41-year-old man. According to preliminary investigations, the driver ignored the icy road and lost control of the vehicle. The car went straight into a tree growing by the roadside.
As a result of the collision, a woman aged 57 died on the spot, while another two women suffered different injuries and were admitted to the Orhei district hospital. The driver was unhurt.
