A woman aged 64 died when she was struck by a trailer that uncoupled itself from a moving car. It happened in Bălți municipality on September 19.
Eugenia Molchanov, press officer of the Bălți Police Inspectorate, has told IPN the accident occurred on Bulgară St. The trailer was projected to the roadside where the woman from Drochia town was standing. The impact was fatal.
The car was driven by a man aged 43. This is investigated outside remand.
