A nameless woman thought to be about 30 years was admitted on Sunday to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital with multiple traumas after she was found lying unconscious on Independentei Street near a bust stop, with signs that indicated a hit-and-run collision. A driver found the woman by chance at around 4:00 PM and rushed her to the nearest emergency unit on Chisinau's outskirts. Later she was transferred to the Emergency Hospital. The woman's condition is now critical as she is treated for brain contusion and chest injury, a spokesperson for the hospital told Info-Prim Neo. The same day, a 34-year-old man was stabbed to the abdomen by a drinking companion. He was also admitted to the Emergency Hospital.
