Woman hospitalised with general hypothermia
An unidentified Chisinau woman was hospitalised on Tuesday morning with general hypothermia.
Coordinating Doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo that a woman in her late twenties, while drunken, collapsed near a house on Ceucari Street, where she slept until morning, when she was found and driven to “Arhangelul Mihail” hospital.
A similar case was reported on Monday, at around 4 PM, at the intersection of Vasile Alecsandri and Alexandru cel Bun streets. An unidentified drunken man suffered from general hypothermia and was admitted to the Emergency Hospital.
While intoxicated and angry on everybody around, a man, 31, cut his veins open with a knife in an attempt to commit suicide. A woman, aged 39, also tried to kill herself by taking several kinds of pills. Both were hospitalised.
Over the past 24 hours the Chisinau Emergency Service recorded 767 calls, including 82 cases of virosis, 52 traumas and 3 brain strokes.
