The woman from Colicăuți village of Briceni district who went missing on January 12 this year was found dead in a forest in Briceni town, IPN reports, with reference to the General Police Inspectorate.

The woman’s body was found by police officers and by volunteers involved in searches.

The body was in a state of putrefaction and didn’t have visible signs of violent death. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

The 33-year-old woman from Colicăuți left home and didn’t return. She lived in the parental house of her husband and had a child aged eight months.
