The carbonized body of a 67-year-old woman from Horești village of Ialoveni district was found in her house that was destroyed by fire last night.

Asked by IPN to provide details, the mayor of Horești Petru Cigoreanu said the woman, who had locomotor disabilities and moved with difficulty, lived alone. According to preliminarily reports, the fire started from the stove.

The mayor noted smoke detectors in the village haven’t been installed within the national campaign launched by the authorities. Money was allocated, but was used for other purposes.
