A 50-year-old Chisinau woman fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building on Dacia Boulevard, just a few meters away from an ambulance that was carrying a patient to hospital. It is not yet known whether it was a suicide attempt or an accident, Info-Prim Neo reports. Emergency Service spokesperson Anatol Proca said the woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with multiple injuries, including brain concussion, contusion of the internal organs, and second-degree traumatic shock. Elsewhere in Chisinau, a 30-year-old man was found hanged from a tree in a courtyard on Chilia Street. Another man, 34, died after slashing his carotid artery in a home on Bucuresti Street. A 4-year-old girl was struck by a Volkswagen in a court of a house on Balcani Street. The girl suffered a brain concussion and bruises. In 24 hours the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 755 calls, including 55 cases of acute viral infections, 91 cases of trauma and 10 brain strokes.
