A 56-year-old woman from Ștefan Vodă district died in a road accident that occurred on the 54th km of the R-30 road, not far from Căușeni district, in the morning of December 17.

Press officer of the Căușeni Police Inspectorate Silvia Vetcu has told IPN that the car was driven by the women’s daughter aged 37. Travelling to Căușeni town, the young woman lost control of the car when intending to overtake another car at a turn. The vehicle skidded off the road and hit a tree.

Asa result of the impact, the passenger aged 56 died on the spot. Her daughter didn’t need medical care.
