Woman dies in dormitory engulfed in flames
A 56-year-old woman was killed in a fire caused by a candle. The fire happened in a house in Nisporeni town on Sunday, September 12. According to the Emergencies Service's spokeswoman Dorina Cruc, the woman was found dead in the bed. She died from carbon monoxide poisoning, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The objects from a room were destroyed in a fire the same day. The damage caused is being assessed.
Haystacks burned in three yards. One of the owners tried to put out the fire, but needed medical care after inhaling fumes.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service on Sunday dealt with 11 emergencies. The body of a man aged 31 was taken out of a well in Larguta, Cantemir. The case is being investigated.
