A woman aged 78 died in the hospital after she was struck by a freight car in Catranîc village of Fălești district on January 13, IPN reports.
According to the Fălești Police Inspectorate, the woman who lived in Catranîc village started to cross the railroad without making sure it was safe and was hit by a train, being thrown laterally.
The woman was transported in an unconscious state to the Fălești District Hospital where she died towards evening.
