A woman has died in a traffic accident in the capital city this morning. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Silvia Babara has told Info-Prim Neo that the 55-year-old woman was crossing Dacia Blvd. when she was struck by a taxi car. The woman's husband called an ambulance, but she could not be saved. She died before the ambulance arrived. A similar case happened on Voluntarilor St yesterday, September 22. A woman aged 60 was hit fatally by a truck. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 694 emergencies, including 48 cases of acute viral infection, 57 cases of trauma, three strokes and 24 deliveries.
